New Activities That Can Educate Your Child

Often parents are looking for new experiences to educate thier child.   Here is a little list I've come up with that can help your child understand the world around them. 1) Nursing home.  Often the elderly are looking to meet and talk to new people, and children of all ages bring joy to elderly people.   It also teaches respect for elderly.  Talking to people in these places helps foster relationships that bring experience as elderly people have a lot to share about the world and the experiences they have lived.   Call a local nursing home and find a elderly person for your child to adopt. 2) County Court and City Council.   This is the place where business of the county and city take place, they are often open forums and open to the public.  Here you child will see the issues that are taking place, budgets are discussed, and projects to improve the community are presented. 3) County Political Party Meetings - again here your child will see how ...

The Trivium is where the three roads meet and it forms the foundation of the Liberal Arts, which is what a free man or woman should know. In this article, we'll explore the Trivium and how it can help us achieve a complete education. The Trivium consists of three important concepts that everyone needs to know: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. Let's take a closer look at each of these. Grammar - This is the first road in the Trivium. It's about taking in information through our senses - what we see, hear, taste, smell, and touch. This information is used to stimulate our memory and build ways of storing helpful information that we can use for a lifetime.
